Soup-er fun, part one. 15 t minced ginger. 15 t ground coriander. 1 qt chicken stock. The cauliflower (you can do this a day ahead). Cut cauliflower into florets, toss with ginger and coriander. Roast on a large cookie sheet at 450 for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Put cauliflower in a large soup pot, add chicken stock. Soup-er fun, part one.

Inspired by stonewall kitchen's fig and walnut butter bars. 1 1/3 c. flour. 1/3 c brown sugar. 1/2 c walnuts, chopped (& toasted if you have time). 1 c fig and walnut butter. Preheat oven to 375. Grease (or line with parchment) an 8x8 pan (i use a tart pan).

I typically use one type of frozen fruit or ice in my smoothies and use the 'ice crush' or 'smoothie' pre-sets on the blender depending on ratio of frozen and unfrozen ingredients. All recipes make around 1 Litre. 1/2 cup of water. 1/2 cups coconut water. 2 cups of spinach. 1 1/2 cups pineapple. Use frozen banana or pineapple, add extra water or coconut water to get the consistency you like. An 'all year' fruit one. 2 cups of pineapple. A summer fruit one.
