drunk on shoes: WHITE ON WHITE
http://drunkonshoes.blogspot.com/2014/05/white-on-white.html
I can't believe my trip is over and I'm back to reality pushing paper and reading tax code. I think I could have used a couple more days in Dallas mainly stuffing myself with tacos and guac and getting in some more pool time. But alas, it is back to normal life. But no one wants to hear about that. Ok, so let's break this trip down shall we? Or at least as much as I can remember. And awaaaaaay we goooooooo. Day one and a half. Can't you feel bad for me and give me a break? Who doesn't like free shit?

THE BBLOG: I am a Spartan!
http://bishop-thebblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/i-am-spartan.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. I am a Spartan! Scott is fond of saying "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". As an almost 40 year old, I don't often put myself into situations where I can actually put this into play - at least not in a physically challenging way. I don't enjoy sports. I don't love outdoor activities. I don't really exercise much. In fact, I don't tend to push my body since my hobbies and my schedule just don't call for it. And so, here comes the brag fest where there will be a million pict...

It’s time yet again for another version of the Renowned Women of Chicago. I have to thank everyone yet again for the great support and appreciation for the series, as well as “nominating” some great ladies to be featured on the series. Thanks again! Today, I have another favorite lady on the blog, and she is one amazing person! Where are you from?

THE BBLOG: XC Photo Shoot
http://bishop-thebblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/xc-photo-shoot.html
Friday, July 17, 2015. And, there, now I've just said it and it does seem pretentious but it's in my blog, which hardly anybody reads and it's just for my journal some day so who cares right? The most recent surprise that comes with the job was The Executive Headshot! They wanted a new head shot for me. I did my hair and makeup and went to Target and had some studio pictures taken and used it for Linked In and the UACPA websites. Good enough right? The three girls on the executive committee, Yoko, Leslie...

THE BBLOG: August 2013
http://bishop-thebblog.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 20, 2013. 65279;. Maddy has discovered the bicycle is way better than the tricycle. And don't worry, she normally does wear a helmet . . ! Yes, a coat, dress, jean shorts and cowboy boots was her outfit of choice for our outing to Uncle Cody's - on a Sunday afternoon in August! We ran into Maddy's long lost best friend Lyla at a birthday party. Lyla's mom isn't working anymore. We miss her at preschool. Thursday, August 8, 2013. The day we visited the University Hospital. I was unfortun...

THE BBLOG: July 2013
http://bishop-thebblog.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 4, 2013. Fishie in a bucket. I signed Maddy up for a two week session of swimming lessons at the local rec center. They have 30 minute lessons for two weeks, four days each week. There are four little girls in her class. They started pretty slowly the first day with putting various body parts in the water "Can you put your chin in the water? Can you put your right ear in the water? How you gonna get out? Can't go over it, gotta go under it" and then the kids are supposed to swim under the ...

THE BBLOG: Nashville
http://bishop-thebblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/nashville.html
Thursday, July 16, 2015. This is a picture heavy post - wait, maybe they all are.). The drive was long. We left on Wednesday morning at 6:30 and drove straight across Wyoming and Nebraska ending just over the border in St. Joseph Missouri for the night. I think we arrived in St. Jo just after 11pm after having only stopped for gas and bathroom breaks. We didn't even stop for lunch or dinner, choosing instead to munch on egg salad sandwiches and almonds and beef jerky. Crossing the Mississippi River.

THE BBLOG: September 2014
http://bishop-thebblog.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 16, 2014. July in review - part II. Oh wait, there is more July to review! Scott joined us after work. He took Brandon and Holly on some of the bigger rides that the little ones couldn't do. Rebekah also joined us after she got off work. I loved that she was such a great cousin to the little ones. She and I took the little ones on a few rides so the big kids and Sarah, Scott and Katie could ride the roller coasters and the jet star 2. As you might have already noticed, I'm trying to ca...
