Living It Out Loud: Show Me...Thank You...Make Me

http://www.viewfromafollower.blogspot.com/2010/08/show-methank-youmake-me.html

Living It Out Loud. Friday, August 13, 2010. Show Me.Thank You.Make Me. Show me Your glory! Great song, recorded by Third Day, one of my favorite worship bands. It's also a common cry in the Church. Well, maybe not all churches, but in mine, and those like mine, it is heard often. (Yes. I am one of. Charismatic to my core. We can talk about that another time.). We didn't make up the phrase, you know. Moses did, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't one of. So I studied this "Glory" word in an attempt to figure o...

Living It Out Loud: A Mother's Memories

http://www.viewfromafollower.blogspot.com/2010/08/mothers-memories.html

Living It Out Loud. Monday, August 23, 2010. I'm turning 50 in October. (. I'll pause while the clapping subsides.). My children have left my nest and gone to a far off land (Texas). For some reason, these two events have culminated in an urge to memorialize my journey of motherhood, in case I forget. Because I'm almost 50. These memories will be in random order, as the majority of my memories are these days. Because I'm almost 50. The smell of my baby's neck.possibly the sweetest smell on earth. Somewhe...

Living It Out Loud: I Was Made For This

http://www.viewfromafollower.blogspot.com/2010/08/i-was-made-for-this.html

Living It Out Loud. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. I Was Made For This. I am a follower, and always have been. I like it that way. The benefits far outweigh the risks, in my opinion. It is inevitable that something is going to go wrong at some point. When it does, who does everyone look at? Nope The guy in front gets to raise his hand to the inevitable question, "who's in charge around here? And the tough decisions? Not my job. I'm a follower, remember? When do we go? How do we get there? I Was Made For This.

My cup runneth over...: August 2010

http://becca-mycuprunnethover.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

My cup runneth over. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Well, I did it again. I walked 60 miles this weekend in Chicago with about 1,600 other people in Susan G. Komen's 2010 Chicago 3-Day Walk for the Cure. I walk for those people on Sunday's stage. I walk. The walk is amazing and I'll try to get back to post about what a wonderful time I had doing it with friends (old and new), but I want to dedicate this post to those for whom I walk: anyone diagnosed with or taken by breast cancer and those who love them.

My cup runneth over. Friday, February 5, 2010. Super Bowl Pool for the Cure. OK, so obviously it's been a while since I posted anything. But I came back for a good reason. Last year two girlfriends and I participated in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. It was an incredible experience - so moving that we got home and signed right up for 2010! http://becca-mycuprunnethover.blogspot.com/2008/09/im-going-to-jungle-mummy.html

My cup runneth over. Thursday, September 25, 2008. I'm going to the jungle, Mummy. A few weeks ago Samantha dons this hat, grabs her "spelling wand", slips on my heels and announces, "I'm going to the jungle, Mummy.". Can YOU think of more appropriate shoes for the jungle? One cannot be caught in the jungle without a cell phone. Yes, she can walk in them. September 25, 2008 at 2:31 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. My cup runneth over. Thursday, September 25, 2008. One week from Saturday (10/4) Madeline will be 8 months. Where is the time going? Patiently sitting with Mummy while Samantha fishes with Daddy. Demonstrating her perfect posture. What a happy baby! Trying out the swings. Madeline, unlike her sister, LOVES the camera. I'm going to the jungle, Mummy. My cup runneth over. Saturday, July 26, 2008. Well, here goes. I am a blog stalker. So, I figured, why not? I can do that. My cup runneth over. Friday, August 22, 2008. Yesterday, Sarah and Cooper visited and we went to Gymboree. I don't know about the kids, but the parents sure got plenty of exercise! OK, so I am no better at blogging than I am at correspondence. At least I can put up a few (dozen) pictures of my beautiful babies. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My cup runneth over...: I suck at blogging

http://becca-mycuprunnethover.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-suck-at-blogging.html

My cup runneth over. Friday, March 6, 2009. I suck at blogging. What I failed to realize when I started this blog as a means of getting current pictures of the girls. Where friends and family could see them, was that there was work involved. Blogging is no easier than printing the photos and mailing them (which I wasn't doing either). Anyway, nearly 6 months after my last post, here I go again. Oh, great. Exhibitionists. OK, Mummy. NOW you can have a hug. I know. Aren't I adorable? Better late than never!

My cup runneth over...: Madeline is 1!

http://becca-mycuprunnethover.blogspot.com/2009/03/madeline-is-1.html

My cup runneth over. Friday, March 6, 2009. Actually, Madeline is now 13 months, but better late than never. For Madeline's birthday she had two cakes: Madeline's first cake was on her birthday, with family, and for her party, the Saturday after her birthday, she had a second cake. This is the second cake. Yep, that is cake in her hair. The buttercream frosting was frustratingly resistant to shampoo. Is there more underneath? Yep, this one is delicious too! This was the first cake. Welcome to My World.

Just another WordPress.com site. Diagnosis Murder: Another Big Fat Blog. June 6, 2015. We lost another tough, loving, stubborn, kind, maddening old fat dyke in the past month, and it’s got me revved up about the medical system and this whole fat-hating society and how it’s just plain bad for our health. I have to wonder, is this diagnosis really necessary? Don’t they look at me when I go the doctor? To be fair, my two very nice woman docs have tried twice now to delete the word when I asked them to, but ...
