La Vie en Guinée. Chronicles of my experience in the Peace Corps as a physics teacher in Guinea, west Africa. Thursday, May 30, 2013. The scent of fresh rain is the same everywhere in the world. La Vie en Guinée. Chronicles of my experience in the Peace Corps as a physics teacher in Guinea, west Africa. Saturday, June 28, 2014. Malaria is a serious problem in Guinea, as well as many other African countries. It is both easily preventable and treatable if identified quickly. La Vie en Guinée. Chronicles of my experience in the Peace Corps as a physics teacher in Guinea, west Africa. Wednesday, March 5, 2014. It all started just a few weeks ago. The school administration informed all the students that one of their classmates was sick, and students contributed money to give to the family to help pay for medical bills. I was surprised to hear who the student was – a girl in Terminale. Who I had taught the past two years in 11. May her soul rest in peace. Posted by Liz Chadwick.

La Vie en Guinée. Chronicles of my experience in the Peace Corps as a physics teacher in Guinea, west Africa. Thursday, October 18, 2012. L’excision: C’est un crime. Rates in Guinea are disturbingly high, some of the highest in the world. No, he said they would be doing it chez nous. Abou, understanding the dangers and knowing my sentiments towards it, sincerely apologized and asked me to forgive them but to understand that it’s a part of their culture. I just don’t know if I can look at the women ...
