Friday, January 13, 2012. Making a shop counter. You know, everybody is going to need a shop counter in their life at some point. So pay attention! Coz I'm about to show you how to make one! It's nothing fancy really. Very cheap. But it looks quite good! Like a proper counter actually :-). Get wood. This counter will be 250x92x60 cm. The wooden frame we'll start with however is 231x72x55 cm. I got 6 pieces of 300x69x44 cm. Saw in to bits. I made drawings first using Google Sketchup. Not a bad start.

Wednesday, January 12, 2011. This is a packaged IKEA Bjurön. It's a round piece of wood with 3 wheels. You can use it to put a big plant on for example. That's what I'm using it for anyway. You can't really call this DIY because it makes even LEGO look like more work! Like I said; a piece of wood and parts to mount 3 small wheels. This is how each wheel is put together. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Putting up blinds (IKEA Lindmon). I wanted to replace my see-through white curtains with some blinds. Nice wooden ones. I got them at Ikea. These are the contents of 1 packet of Ikea "Lindmon" blinds. Putting up blinds is no rocket science. These 3 parts are as difficult as it gets. They need to be side or top mounted and then you can just put the blinds in. Make sure you do not hang them too close to any grips. So anyway, you should end up like this. Two windows done :-).

Her little Corsa died on her last Thursday, one of the camshafts broke and I believe that also the cylinderhead cracked, lovely. Too expensive to fix on a 10 year old car so we've been seeing a few garages in the morning before going to see Milan play his Saturday baseball game.
