The website needs a bit more refinement as it has only just been launched but FAIRINGBOLTS.COM is a site selling standard fasteners and parts replicated in everlasting, super strong and lightweight TITANIUM. I know you can buy titanium fasteners elsewhere on the net but this is the place where you can that Honda fairing bolt with the shoulder that holds the fairings properly in place. Grade 5 titanium 6Al/4V is used for ultimate strength. You can also find these parts on Amazon.

Friday, 29 November 2013. NSR250 Pro arm bought on the Japanese auctions. After several weeks of trying and failing to buy a bike on the Japanese bike auctions I've finally done it. I got outbid several times and it's quite difficult when it's the middle of the night in Britain and the auction is underway in Japan. Bought the bike in Oct 1998. In a fit of naive lust and an attempt to get an old girlfriend back by impressing her with a new bike I bought a 1996 SP. It looked brand new and was going for 2500. It took a few months to get the bike to actually start. It involved fixing a bent float in the right carb, that was firing fuel neat out of one of the pipes! I fitted the bike with as much titanium parts as I could. Nearly all the fasteners are titanium which means a reduction in revolving mass from bolts like the sprocket bolts but also a reduction in unsprung weight. Importing a Honda NSR250 SE (MC28) direct from Japan. The bike has got it's year related registration plate which is on the bike. It's taxed insured and just needs a final wash and polish before it goes on sale. It runs beautifully! I just need to sell it now.
