Jake's 99 e300d Vegoil Conversion. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. And all is well. I'll have to double check, but we've put about 3000 kms on the car since converting it. We filled up the diesel tank about 3 weeks ago, we've done 1000 kms since then and we're at half a tank. Normally, a full tank of diesel gets us 650kms in town and 800kms on the highway. I think we'll easily get 2000 kms in city driving. Now that the Check Engine light is off, I have full boost from the turbo. YAY. May 20, 2008 at 9:49 AM.

Ray's E320 CDI WVO Conversion. Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Bad news - the switchover times on this car are quite lengthy. This appears to be due to the common rail being thermally tied to the engine's head. With ambient temps at about 70*F, it takes me 11 miles / 20 minutes to get the returning diesel fuel temps up to 140*F.
