Also, employees must be paid at least minimum wage for all hours worked each workweek. 2016 Oregon minimum wage is $9.25 / hour. Under Oregon law, an additional penalty of 30 working days' pay.

Generally, courts will find workers to be employees, unless they meet the definition of a true independent contractor.
