I am excited, anxious, nervous, etc. I am very ready to be back amongst the living, but still worried about how my back will handle everything. My scoliosis surgery journey. Tuesday, April 5, 2011. The surgery should take 4-6 hours and I will be in ICU for the first 24 hours or so, which is standard procedure for this kind of surgery, so they can keep an extra close eye on me. My scoliosis surgery journey. Monday, July 25, 2011. 10 days since last post.I should be fired, I'm such a slacker! Brian and I had our first date night post surgery and had a wonderful time. Although after sitting at dinner for so long, I wasn't up for a movie afterward :( That is still frustrating.having so many things I would like to do but having to choose because I know how tired and sore I will be later. So I don't think we will be going on any road trips in the near future. Boo to that.

I guess they are a different breed and I am happy that bones and muscles make his day :). I got the green light to start going to our pool, and we stopped on the way home to get some 100spf sunscreen to spray on my brand new back! What a great way to start the holiday weekend. My scoliosis surgery journey. Friday, July 15, 2011. 4 weeks post op. Sorry it has been so long since my last update, I don't know where the time goes sometimes! This past week has been pretty busy. We finally got the builder to address and correct our air conditioning situation (after sending him an invoice from Airco for $3500 to fix it.hehehe).
