Wanderlust for a Glutton

Travel.food.music.fashion.party.fun.life. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. This pizza had the tomato base with olives, with salami, prosciutto, mushrooms and mozarella. I’m so glad I tried this, I was worried it wouldn’t work out and I would be eating sandwiches for dinner, but it was so easy. Pizza is literally going to be the flavour of the month at my house. Here is the dough recipe, it makes roughly 2 large pizzas, more if you like a thinner crust:. 8226; 450g (3 cups) plain flour. 8226; 1 1/2 tsp salt.

Wanderlust for a Glutton: EGYPT: Pyramids, Museums and Mummies

http://wanderlustforaglutton.blogspot.com/2011/01/pyramids-museums-and-mummies.html

Travel.food.music.fashion.party.fun.life. Friday, January 21, 2011. EGYPT: Pyramids, Museums and Mummies. So finally the day had arrived, we were off to see the Pyramids of Giza. While we were driving around Cairo we had seen glimpses of them in-between buildings and from a distance through the hazy smog in the desert. Today was the day where we would see them up close and even inside (not me though! In front of the Pyramids, not looking very happy? I think I must've been grumpy because of the heat.

Wanderlust for a Glutton: The Cuisine of Cairo = Koshary?

http://wanderlustforaglutton.blogspot.com/2011/01/cuisine-of-cairo-koshary.html

Travel.food.music.fashion.party.fun.life. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. The Cuisine of Cairo = Koshary? In the hour it took to get to our hotel we saw some strange sights from the car window. Amongst them were:. A man in his little hatchback with a motorbike taking up the rest of the space in the car. Donkeys pulling carts barely holding the weight of their load holding up the traffic. Clinically insane pedestrians such as families of seven people dodging and weaving through the hectic traffic altogether.

Travel.food.music.fashion.party.fun.life. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Breakfast Chronicles 2 – Yum Cha at Shark Fin Inn. In my first Breakfast Chronicles I said a bad breakfast can ruin your day, well Yum Cha can also ruin your day with overindulgence. Well ruin is a bit of an over-exaggeration, it will ensure you cannot move for the rest of the day and therefore cannot do anything. But it is oh so worth it! Chinese Tea, trust me you'll need it as it helps with digestion. Once seated waitresses will come aroun...

Travel.food.music.fashion.party.fun.life. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. The Baths of Budapest. The sight you are greeted with once you enter. One thing Budapest is renowned for is the amazing indoor and outdoor baths all over the city. They are a legacy from the era when the Ottoman Turks ruled Hungary. What a gift to leave behind! The facade of the Szechenyi Baths. The outdoor Szechenyi Baths. Wanderlust For A Glutton. January 5, 2011 at 3:08 PM. January 5, 2011 at 3:51 PM. Wanderlust For A Glutton. An Af...

Stylish in SE3: February 2011

http://stylishinse3.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, 10 February 2011. It has been a very busy week in SE3. I have been down a team member and working late to cover it - I didn't get out of the office till past 8pm last night and most nights been working until at least 7pm. For someone that is used to being able to finish up by 6pm and head home it has been a shock to the system. I'll see you all on the flip side (that's Monday, you know). Posted by Mrs PPC. Labels: Taking a wee break. Monday, 7 February 2011. Glee kids, I love you. With a coffe...

Friday, 11 March 2011. A month of hell. Feeling the cold. Stylish Bloggers. It has been a whole month since I've last updated here. I had all these grand plans of updating three times a week, maybe more, if I could fit it in, but the universe had its say and instead decided I needed to have a month from hell. What's the worst bit? I've not been stylish in the least. I feel like I'm letting the team down! With that said, lets get on with the blogging. So now, I can't sleep and I'm blogging instead. Bl...

Stylish in SE3: A trip to Borough Market.

http://stylishinse3.blogspot.com/2011/02/trip-to-borough-market.html

Sunday, 6 February 2011. A trip to Borough Market. A casual Saturday trip to our favorite London Market. I wore my favorite JAG jeans that I bought in Melbourne in January, striped cardigan from Primark, Racer Back Vest Top from Cotton On and Ballet Flats from Primark (the infamous £4 flats! With a Diet Coke at the ready, Mr SE3 is rocking out in a pair of American Eagle jeans, Hollister Top and Faux Timberland boots (Thank you Big W). After a few hours walking around the riverbank, shopping the stalls a...

Life, Food and Travels. Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Dinner at Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant - 2nd visit. As I've mentioned in my earlier post, Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant is fast becoming a favourite. I've had a few dinners there after my first post and although I didn't manage to take photos of every dish we ordered, here's just a few. The mantis prawn in cereal and salted egg is a firm favourite, as always. I will be posting more photos from Wang Chiew's menu later. Sunday, February 28, 2010. So we all c...

Wanderlust for Food | exploring the world one dish at a time

Exploring the world one dish at a time. December 17, 2012. Living in Australia during the holiday season makes me crave Southern food from home since it’s summer and doesn’t really feel like Christmas. Luckily, my search efforts were rewarded with a few green tomatoes at the market this weekend that were hiding in a box full of hundreds of tomatoes. It didn’t take long before I had those beauties coated in dredge and sizzling in oil in my trusty cast iron skillet. I always eat my fried green tomatoes wit...

The boy’s parents have noted that Will and Henry have learned a great deal through touring and learning from the Junior Ranger programs in the 260 National Parks and recreation areas the family has visited in the past two years. “They’ve provided a great education in science and history,” said Bill Burch. Rachel Tueller, Public Affairs Officer for the Arizona Strip District. I LOVE this so much.
