Rogers Family Update: May 2011

Periodic Updates from Buckeye Country. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Lucas is the funniest kid and it is so apparent what a sponge his brain is. It is so fun to watch him learn and grow up. He is really really into dinosaurs and this week in the car said "Mom do you know the (insert a name of a dinosaur I can't pronounce) lived in the Cretaceous period". It was so funny! Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to recently. Tessa supporting her Gophers! One of many hugs! Tessa and Gianna playing. On Satur...

Running In Place: April 2009
http://pamknits-runninginplace.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Because running on the treadmill is SO much easier than running on ground. Thursday, April 30, 2009. After the night I had Tuesday. I was really fatigued on Wednesday, but decided to do a DVD or two. I did the am Yoga Workout with Rodney Yee to loosen up my back and hips from the attempted Tuesday evening run. Then I did The Biggest Loser Bootcamp. It was hard. My arms were all shaky afterwards. But in a good way. Posted by PamKnits at 7:57 PM. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. It's So Much Harder. I even resiste...

Sunday, January 30, 2011. Little Guppies or Big Sharks? Either way to you look at them, Chalisse and Jensen have been swimming like crazy the last couple of months. I have enjoyed going to many of their meets cheering them on or more like yelling like crazy. I tried to get some good pictures, but most of them were nice pictures of bubbles and splashes of water. Chalisse swimming the 200 yard IM. Chalisse swimming the 200 yard freestyle. Chalisse swimming the 100 yard fly. Jensen swimming the 50 yard fly.

Hunsaker Happenings: August 2010
http://onehoneyrunning.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 17, 2010. My running in August has been slim to nothing. In fact. Everything has been slim to nothing except rest, ice, compression, and elevation. The worst part is where I was at in my training schedule for the Top of Utah Marathon. The marathon is now about a month away, so my goal is to be able to at least finish it. Sunday, August 8, 2010. Grandma Anderson's Carmel Pull- Apart Rolls. Carmel Pull- Apart Rolls. 1/2 c brown sugar. 1 small box non- instant butterscotch pudding. Heat toge...

Tuesday, October 15, 2013. The longest labor the fastest delivery = A Very Happy Family. I don't know which felt longer to me, my pregnancy with Corbin or Montana's with Addy. Holy Smokes! From week 31 when she had contractions, began to dilate, completely efface, spend a week in the hospital and then weeks after on bed rest it seemed that we bounced from fear of Addysen coming too soon to frustration that she would never come! A minor contraction just for documentation sake. To express my emotions when ...

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Is it just me or has this been a brutal week on social media? With the announcement and magazine cover release regarding a former Olympic athlete and a change made with gender it seems it unleashed feelings from every corner of the plate. It seem that no matter what you feel or say, there is going to be someone to slam you for it. And sadly, some of the slams were and are pretty harsh. So it got me to thinking. What IS the right answer when it comes to using those adjectives? The ov...

Wednesday, November 19, 2014. It's been a while since I've verbally vomited, perhaps it's time to purge. First of all, holy smokes, the big ride is here! I will be on a plane early tomorrow morning bound for Tuscon, Arizona and my first ever JDRF ride. I am humbled and blessed to be given the opportunity to ride with Ethan and Tiburon for a cause that is so very personal to my bestie. Should be warmer there than it is here. Although, I was hoping for high 80's it looks like it will be 70's. I mean, all a...

Thursday, October 9, 2014. St George Marathon 2015 - Time with friends is as good as the runner's high. This year marked my 5th year running St George and I absolutely LOVE it! A sentimental favorite since it was my first ever marathon that you can read about here. I know the course well now, I know what to expect and how to train. This season has been weird. Ever since running Boston (which you can read about here. Adrian - a new customer and first time marathoner! Kandi, Wan and Janae. I left the expo ...

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Pre Thanksgiving post - or in my case the real deal. I've posted before about our changing Thanksgiving tradition. And well lookie here, I've changed it up again! Splenda Daddy made sure to make it different. After loading plates, Splenda asked everyone to go around the table and talk about what they were thankful for. I realize that this is probably a very standard thing for most families to do, but for us, our usual dinner table banter is filled with jokes, snark, a ment...
