Watkins Cattle - Our Cattle
http://www.watkinscattleco.com/ourcattle.html
We believe in the traditional method of ranching where cattle are free to roam on vast acres of rich pasture. Watkins cattle are 100% range fed (free range). This means they are never confined to a feedlot for feeding in their entire lives. In the cowboy tradition, they gain their weight from nature. Our core values as ranchers and cowboys dictate that all animals deserve ethical and humane treatment. Range fed is the slow way, but in the end, it's the right way.

Watkins Cattle - Cook It Right!

How To Cook The Perfect Steak. A great steak is an art that's easy to perfect. Use these tips to get the best results every time. Before hitting the barbecue. Take the steaks out of the fridge 10 minutes before you cook them. This stops the meat tightening and becoming tough. Season the steaks lightly with salt and pepper. Oil the steak not the barbecue. This stops your steaks sticking and the oil burning on the grill. Heat the barbecue before you add the steaks. Turn the steaks only once.
