Tucked up against my chin. I hold his tiny hand in mine,. And stroke his baby skin. The house about us creaks and groans,. The clock hands creep around. He snuggles closer to me still,. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. The saddest face in the world. Two months old already. At his well child check-up he was 12.2 lbs. And 23.75 inches. That means he has gained more than 4 lbs and grown more than 4 inches! As you can see from the above photo, he has a very expressive face. He is now smiling and 'communicating' with us in a wonderfully interactive manner. I coo, he coos, I smile, he smiles, I pretend to cry, he bursts into tears, I smile, he looks confused. Just to liven things up a bit I will include a really great banana bread recipe I found while babysitting. 1/2 cup butter, softened. 3/4 cup white sugar. 1 cup ripe bananas, mashed. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 1/2 cups flour. 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional).
