Weaving through life together

Weaving through life together. January 22, 2014. A Year Later . One year ago, after so many complications, I boarded my 4th flight to Russia, to pick up our new son. We had been through so much in those two years leading up to this point, to actually be at the stage of bringing him home was amazing. This time I was on my own because finances were tight, (did I mention I don't like flying) but I had my eyes fixed on the prize. One very hungry boy. His Old life and room. He cried on and off almost the whol...

Weaving through life together: 6 weeks home

http://weavingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2013/03/6-weeks-home.html

Weaving through life together. March 12, 2013. Just an update on Little Mr A. It is hard to believe after all the waiting and ups and downs of the 2 year adoption journey, that he has been home 6 weeks already. He is really funny, loud as loud, and full of energy. He is ALL boy, as well as being really affectionate and sweet. He is starting to believe that food is always available, and isn't so scared of not getting enough to eat. He doesn't like to be put down at all, but that is slowly improving too.

Weaving through life together. October 25, 2011. 3 days till we leave. Well it is 3 days till we leave Tauranga for our journey to Vladivostok Russia. I am starting to get serious butterflies in my stomach now. For those of you of my friends who are the praying kind and have asked me what to pray for, these are a few things:. We will know the right decision on choosing what child is right for us/have a peace. Safe travels, flights all connect and bags won't get lost. Links to this post. October 14, 2011.

Weaving through life together: November 2011

http://weavingthroughlife.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Weaving through life together. November 21, 2011. I only have 5 minutes to write this, but if I don't do it now I will never find the time. We have been back from Russia 2 weeks today. It feels like a long time ago we were there, but feels like only yesterday I held my 2 son's in my arms and said goodbye. I think I cried most of the way home on and off. It was a horrible feeling, one I knew going in to this would be hard, but you really never know until you face it. Hospital where they live. We witness a...

Weaving Threads's Blog. Walking through the Day With Eyes Wide Open. HOW DO YOU PAY ATTENTION? August 7, 2010. A Summer’s Day. Mary Oliver writes…. 8230;I don’t know exactly what a prayer is,. I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down. Into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,. How to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,. Which is what I have been doing all day. Tell me, what else should I have done? Without hesitation, Mary Oliver replied, “in love.”. July 18, 2010. My day...

Weaving Through Lives - Home

Like it on facebook. Every story has a beginning. Every story has a beginning. Childhood experiences shape lives toward decisions, placing individuals in situations that determine choices. For Mary of Bethany, the beginning of her story was in the alabaster box she lavishly poured on her Lord, expressing the joy of her salvation and new life. Mary Magdalene wasted too many years fighting her demons, until she was rescued by a man from Galilee who gave her answers instead of questions.
