http://wildthoughtsfromwildplaces.blogspot.com/2013/11/lessons-from-marine-ball.html
Wild Thoughts From Wild Places. Sunday, November 17, 2013. Lessons from a Marine Ball. Last night we were excited to attend our first-ever Marine Ball! It was a beautiful event, held outside in downtown Lome, with streamers and lights covering the entire venue. Along with great food, good wine and fantastic company, the night was an appropriate time and setting to learn a few new lessons. 2 The Marines actually cut the cake with a sword. 3 The table with the single place setting, sitting off by itself is...

Beyond the Cornfields: Behind the Scenes Tour- Malta National Aquarium
http://beyondthecornfields.blogspot.com/2015/05/behind-scenes-tour-malta-national.html
FOLLOW OUR UNUSUAL LIFE ABROAD (currently in MALTA) IN THE FOREIGN SERVICE. Monday, May 18, 2015. Behind the Scenes Tour- Malta National Aquarium. Aside from beaches, the Malta Aquarium has to be our most frequented place in Malta that we go as a family. It is solitude from winter gloom and a retreat from summer heat. It teaches. It relaxes. It amazes each of us in our own way. The playground keeps the kids thrilled, but so do the fish. I love that they are both so familiar and at home at the aquarium.

All Aboard the Crazy Bus. Thursday, September 12, 2013. Celebrating Three Years Of Having Three Kids. Well, I believed my head and my heart were firmly attached in the right places, but it didn't take long before I was beginning to wonder if the rules I had been told about adopting here were actually. Indonesian kids are beyond adorable! Then, there was this one little boy who grabbed my heart. I watched him play and interact. He reached over to feed me a bite of his Lego block. I pretended t...I feel li...
