Una de las claras diferencias es que la educación formal se da dentro del marco escolar a diferencia de la educación no formal (que es extraescolar)y a informal(que se realiza fuera del marco de la escuela), además la educación formal se produce en espacio y tiempo concretos, mientras la educación informal no.
