We’ve eaten a lot of great food, taken a lot of awesome pictures, and we’re grateful to live in a place with so many great restaurants and drinking establishments. Thursday, April 15, 2010. These noodles work great for homemade chicken noodle soup, or can be used in any recipe that uses noodles, such as spaghetti. 2 cups wheat flour (or white). 1/4-1/2 tsp. salt. 1/2 tsp. baking powder. 8 cups uncooked rolled oats. 4 cups wheat flake cereal. 3 cups raw wheat germ. 1/2 cup sunflower seeds. 1/8 cup flax seeds. 1/2 tsp. salt. 3/4 cup chopped nuts. 2 cups dried fruit (apples and raisins work best). Store in fridge in airtight container or ziplock bag. Saute for 2 min:.

I made these over the weekend and they were a hit. I love the crumbly top. And I love having an apple peeler/corer. Go get one and make these. 2 1/3 c. flour. 1/4 c brown sugar. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. 9 tbsp. butter. 2-3 small apples, cored, peeled and cut into small pieces. 1 tbsp. baking powder. 1/2 tsp. salt. Spoon into muffin tins; top with crumb mixture.
