My Random Rants and Raves. Travel and food are my religion…with a bit of shopping thrown in. There is more to Tibet than just Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street, although it is a country full of temples and monasteries. One of my favorites was Sera Monastery. Here we went to the ‘Debating Courtyard’ and watched monks debate each other. I have never seen so many monks at one time. It was pretty amazing to witness them during their normal routine.
