keep on blogging in the real world: April 2009
http://jasonharmon1.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Never passive aggressively give clients terrible color choices in hopes of steering them toward your own choice. They inevitably will choose the grossest thing you put in front of them. Posted by Jason Harmon. Tuesday, April 07, 2009. So I've been to Good Karma Cafe twice in the last few days with Haley, to visit our friend Carolyn. He recognized my hair. I love being known. It feels so nice to go places and have people stop to talk to you. It happened all the time in B...Found...

{no longer} homeless in denver: free pizza
http://homelessindenver.blogspot.com/2013/10/free-pizza.html
No longer} homeless in denver. Sunday, October 27, 2013. Silence is my enemy. its in the silence that my head begins to reel. but tonight i sat in it, i soaked it in. i let my thoughts run and flip inside my head. As i biked home tonight from a long shift at starbucks, it felt like the city was sleeping. it was only 11pm on a sunday night, but Philadelphia was quiet and calm. silence. it was the kind of quiet when you can actually hear the click of the stop lights switch from red to green. I had been at ...

{no longer} homeless in denver: every day should be father's day
http://homelessindenver.blogspot.com/2013/06/every-day-should-be-fathers-day.html
No longer} homeless in denver. Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Every day should be father's day. A few weeks ago my father saw my (third) tattoo. And he didn't freak out. Let me introduce you to him. He is loud, boisterous and short. Life of the party, story teller (exaggerator) extraordinaire. He is where my. Life of the party. I will appreciate when he knows he will not win in an argument against the 4 women in the house and he sits back with his hands folded across his round stomach, feet crossed out in fro...

Jackie In the City: May 2013
http://jackieinthecity.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Jackie In the City. Musings of a country girl turned city slicker. Monday, May 27, 2013. It's weird but it's Fishtown. Our biggest neighborhood event of the year is the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival. And its headliner is the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby. This is a "design competition and parade of human powered vehicle floats" per their website. And I couldn't think of any better way to describe it! I walked a couple of blocks and met this man and his mama on the street corner. We Made It Home.
