On Being Brown...: April 2005
http://onbeingbrown.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
I'm not sure if I'm fascinated. or horrified.". Thursday, April 28, 2005. I have a friend that tells me I’m evangelical about the things I love books, music, movies, Jesus. you name it. So I started thinking: What better way than my blog to plug the things I’m into to the five people who are already sick of hearing about it? That said, you should really check out the upcoming Ryan Adams Album, Cold Roses. That comes out well crap. Thanks Brett. Posted by Doug at 9:12 PM. Sunday, April 17, 2005. And they ...

The (s)Wheat Spot!: February 2005
http://wheatspot.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2005. I'll make it quick, but I'd be remiss not to include at least a little something about the Oscars. They're over now, and I must ask - Is the outro music not the theme from Terminator 2? Firstly, I think that Million Dollar Baby. Deserved every Oscar it won, but Clint Eastwood did not deserve best actor, which he didn't win. Jamie Foxx had way too much hype to be vulnerable to defeat. Sadly, I haven't seen Ray, so I have to go by hype, not his actual performance. 1) Charlie Kauf...

The (s)Wheat Spot!: January 2005
http://wheatspot.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Welcome to The Blogosphere. Why not add to the fray," I thought to myself. If everyone has their own blog, why can't I? But what to write? I don't just want to fill cyberspace with aimless ramblings about the weather and how it makes me feel. I want a purpose. Meaning. People read. Things with meaning. They also read People Magazine. Can touch our lives. Maybe you. Can touch others' lives. Posted by paul @ 1:48 PM. Austin, Texas, United States. View my complete profile. Goril...

View my complete profile. Mueller On: The Living Dead. Mueller On: Struggle and Peace. Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Mueller On: What's fair? I have an ever-present tendency to ask God the question, "Why Me? These words can be heard rolling off the tip of my tongue on a fairly regular basis. This is because I tend to believe that I don't deserve what is given to me. Maybe because I think I've earned better, maybe. For me, this is the "why" question that continuously lingers: "Why can't I change? Many of us a...

The (s)Wheat Spot!: I'm Back, Suckas
http://wheatspot.blogspot.com/2006/04/im-back-suckas.html
Wednesday, April 05, 2006. I'm Back, Suckas. Yep It only took me 2 1/2 weeks to get over jetlag/wedding planning insanity/remorse from missing the Beasties, Flaming Lips, Midlake, Brothers and Sisters, Jenny Lewis, Peter and the Wolf, and Deathcab/Franz Ferdinand in Austin. Not bad. Anyhow I'm back, and I'm coming back ready. I have pics from Sunday night's Amanda Leggett show at Ego's, and a few recommends for the Wall of Sound. Fest that I'll be attending on Saturday in Ft. Worth, with Dan. So X So What.

The (s)Wheat Spot!: So X So What
http://wheatspot.blogspot.com/2006/03/so-x-so-what.html
Wednesday, March 15, 2006. So X So What. Being an Austin musicblogger, it's a mortal sin to be out of town this week. It's SXSW and I'm sure the town is abuzz with music glitterati of all sorts, and I'm missing it. Forgive me, but I'm in Asia, and I proposed to my girlfriend and she said yes. That's going to have to win out over SXSW this year. Put me in musicblog timeout, if you must, but let Gorilla Vs. Bear. Guide you home this week. Uncle Paul will be back next week. The Melodious Accord: May 2005

So, as you know (if you've been keeping up), I went to Norway last week, and let me tell you, it was just one adventure after another. Aside from making the pleasant discovery that I could have a decent career as a fjord fisherwoman. Ate fish pudding (which is not exactly as repulsive as one would suppose. Andrea said, "it just makes eating fish easier, as you don't have to worry about the bones."). Had an unexpected, and unhappy, encounter with some barnacles (one of the things I hate. Who told you that?
