Jennifer's Recipe Box: Arroz con Leche

http://www.whatscooking-jennifer.blogspot.com/2009/02/arroz-con-leche.html

Saturday, February 21, 2009. Another food I've grown up on.I think it's pretty good. p.s. arroz con leche means rice and milk. . Enough milk to cover rice about half way. Put all ingredients into a pan and cook it until most of the milk is absorbed into the rice. It's really easy.and really good. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 100 Recipes in 2009. Jennifer's Recipe Box: sugar and spice muffins

http://www.whatscooking-jennifer.blogspot.com/2009/02/sugar-and-spice-muffins.html

Sunday, February 8, 2009. Sugar and spice muffins. At the beginning of the school year my mom bought me a big bag of Krusteaz pancake mix from Costco. It is a great "just add water" food to eat whenever I have no other food. To mix it up a bit I decided to look up some recipes that have pancake mix in them. Here's the one that I tried that was pretty good. . 2 1/2 cups krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix. 1/4 cup vegetable oil . Topping: 4 tablespoons butter. Makes 1 dozen muffins. 100 Recipes in 2009.

Jennifer's Recipe Box: Green Smoothie

http://www.whatscooking-jennifer.blogspot.com/2009/03/green-smoothie.html

Friday, March 6, 2009. Last night at enrichment we learned how to make a delicious and healthy smoothie.but it's green. A little scary but surprisingly delicious! You can determine the amount of each ingrident depending on how much you want to make. . Canned pineapple w/ juice. Banana (s) (I used about 3/4 of a banana for one smoothie). Frozen orange juice concentrate (just a couple spoonfuls). A little water or milk (if it's too thick with just the pineapple juice). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Jennifer's Recipe Box: Egg Fried Rice

http://www.whatscooking-jennifer.blogspot.com/2009/02/egg-fried-rice.html

Tuesday, February 17, 2009. About a cup of rice. About 1/4 frozen peas. 1Heat up the rice in a frying pan (it was leftovers.hence the reason I didn't cook it.again). 2put the peas in a bowl with a little water and microwave a couple minutes. 3pour the cooked peas into rice (it's ok if there's still a little water in the peas, I think it makes the rice reheat better) cook until hot. . 5 add a little more yoshida's sauce right before you eat it. . The McKell Family: March 2011

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 27, 2011. This weekend we headed to Provo for a day of partying and adventures. We left Friday afternoon and came back Saturday evening.so it was a VERY quick and even busier trip. We hitched a ride with Stephanie and Steven since they are SO awesome. On Friday after we got into Provo we went to eat at Brick Oven, which is a super good pizza restaurant and one of Justin's favorites. He was appalled that I had never eaten there.so we had to change that. Partying in the car on the way back.

The McKell Family: October 2011

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 17, 2011. So I am quite bored/ sick of seeing the same blog post every time I open my blog. Therefore, I am going to do a random update/ catchup of things I haven't blogged about yet. In August, before coming back to Idaho, Justin and I went to a Sounders game. I think soccer is probably my favorite kind of sport to watch, and going to a game was absolutely insane! We marched to the stadium with a ton of other fans and were on our feet the whole game! Aka the best place EVER! Picture Wind...

The McKell Family: March 2012

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 30, 2012. The scariest part of graduating is that I have no plans. That's right, graduation in SEVEN days and no idea what I am going to do now. YIKES! Justin still has a year before he graduates with his bachelors, which means a year before we will be settled and I will be able to have a "real" job. I really hope I can find something this summer, and it would be great if it could be design related. I want to put my education to work! Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

The McKell Family: 2 months!

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2013/03/2-months.html

Saturday, March 16, 2013. Elizabeth is two months old today! Boy, time sure flies! We will talk to her and she talks right back like we are having a real conversation. Sometimes she apparently says really funny things because she will say her baby talk and then get a huge smile on her face and give a little laugh. She is having her two month appointment next week, I am not looking forward to shots! I am so excited! Can't wait to go back home! And Justin had a "decision day" video chat. Go UW.

The McKell Family: 5 months old!

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2013/06/5-months-old.html

Monday, June 24, 2013. Time has been flying by! Elizabeth is now five months old! She is still as adorable as ever, and seems to be growing bigger everyday! Here are the fun facts as of now! Last week she had a doctors appointment (with lots of shots.so sad) where she weighed a little over 15 pounds and 24 inches long. Her little vampire teeth seem to still be trying to work there way through her gums, still no sign of them yet. We do not have a quiet girl on our hands! Here she is in all her cuteness!

The McKell Family: Easter

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2013/04/easter.html

Thursday, April 04, 2013. This past Sunday was Easter, Elizabeth's first Easter to be exact. It was an absolutely beautiful day! And she went the entire day without blowing out of her diaper. Quite the accomplishment. To enjoy the sun we went over to the park for a little bit to relax after church, and then headed over to Steven and Stephanies house where they made a delicious ham dinner (I don't even like ham.but it was really yummy! Looks like the perfect day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The McKell Family: July 2011

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 11, 2011. Justin and I just celebrated our first anniversary last Saturday. It is pretty awesome/ amazing in my opinion. Somehow we ended up partying for almost a week.what a perfect way to celebrate. Justin's sister and her husband came to visit, which added even more fun to all the adventures. I was off work for the week.so things worked out. I'll break it down. The Fourth of July! Thursday we went to Ocean Shores! On Saturday we started out eating some brunch at a Dutch Bakery. It was...

The McKell Family: April 2011

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. My thoughts at the moment: Las Vegas style. I think I would be okay with living the life of the rich and "kind of" famous. I just saw the show La Reve at the Wynn hotel. It was amazing. It was kind of like an awesome mixture of acrobatics, synchronized swimming, ballroom dance, magic, and plain old amazing awesomeness! SO SO SO cool! My work is published in a magazine.I feel really cool! My feet have about 20,000 blisters.but worth it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://jenniennifer.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 12, 2011. I know it's not time for Christmas yet.but I got excited. And I wanted stockings. So I made some! They are kind of a funny shape.but I thought they were pretty fun anyway. Well. I'm in no way a seamstress.so I was proud of myself. Here they are! I am just super excited for Christmas this year! What's Cooking?

Staying in touch through recipes and stories. Friday, August 15, 2003. Got a bounty of garlic in our CSA share this week - time to harvest basil and make some mega batches of pesto. Posted by Jeanne 5:42 PM. Tuesday, August 05, 2003. Yummy of the week: Focaccia on the grill! Other ideas I'm going to try - garlic, spinach and feta; sliced tomatoes and fresh mozzarella; pesto and shrimp (or chicken); thai peanut sauce and chicken; grilled eggplant, garlic and balsamic vinegar. Perhaps the way to go is ...
