http://veganondaysthatendiny.blogspot.com/2011/06/daiya-makes-appearance.html
Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Daiya Makes an Appearance. The vegan world has been raving about Daiya. Fresh out of the oven. So, I can't find the pictures of the process, or of the plates- sorry, friends! On the side I made Spanish "rice", but I used cauliflower. I've talked about replacing rice with cauliflower before in this post. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Read about my love affair with CSA's by clicking here:. Give Peas a Chance. Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Return to Tasty Harmony. I've raved about Tasty Harmony before. The all vegetarian/99% vegan restaurant is a go to for local, organic, delicious food. We stopped by weekend before last and I fell in love with a salad. Which is kind of awkward since Bobby was right there. It's called "The Meal". On their website. I included my hand as a size reference. This thing was definitely a meal. Tasty Harmony has specials that change often, a...

Plant Based Cooking: July 2011
http://veganondaysthatendiny.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. C to tha SA. The first few weeks of the CSA were a bit rough. Between rain and hail, but we've still been getting plenty of greens each week, rain or shine- even if the emphasis lately seems to be on the former. Last Thursday when I picked up our share I did so in a heavy afternoon thunderstorm. The farmer, Luke, was kind enough to let me take refuge under his awning with the veggies. Soaked to my bones. Friday, July 1, 2011. My st...

Plant Based Cooking: Trash Can Magic Smoothie
http://veganondaysthatendiny.blogspot.com/2011/01/trash-can-magic-smoothie.html
Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Trash Can Magic Smoothie. I also threw in what I *thought* were frozen peaches from our CSA. Those orange chunks at the bottom were, presumably, peaches. I ground it all up, drank it down, and it tasted fantastic. It wasn't until the next night, when Bobby went to make a fruit crumble (mmmm, crumble) when he held up the jar of presumed peaches and said "wait, what are these? Cantaloupe, or. what? Plant Based Cooking: The Joys of the Simple Salad
http://veganondaysthatendiny.blogspot.com/2011/06/joys-of-simple-salad.html
Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. The Joys of the Simple Salad. My salad as a child consisted of croutons and ranch. True story. Please buy these in bulk and do not allow yourself to be fleeced! I have never paid more than $7.99 a pound for chia seeds, and that's on the high end. Lots of retailers are charging outrageous prices for dinky little bags. It's highway robbery. Get thee to a bulk bin. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Give Peas a Chance.

http://veganondaysthatendiny.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Thursday, April 14, 2011. Tasty, Tasty Harmony. There is an all vegetarian, predominantly vegan restaurant that we love, called Tasty Harmony. I had to share these pictures of the insanely delicious food they have, even though said pictures are from my phone and, as a result, a bit blurry. All of the food pictured here is totally vegan, and completely wonderful. You Wont Miss the Meat. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Give Peas a Chance. You Wont Miss the Meat.

Thoughts and tips on creating whole foods meals. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. My Dinner's Too Currylicious Fo Ya Babe. Sorry kittens, it seems my penchant for punny post titles (and alliteration, apparently) has reached all new. Heights. Also, I've never used strikethrough in a blog until just now. But back to the point of that terrible post title. You must make this curry. I found the recipe here. On a site I have raved about before. Any time you want something new to cook that will definitely be great.
