Later, the Wheatsheaf became a coaching stop en route from Lancaster to Carlisle. The old A6 runs directly outside the front door with the bridge over the river Bela (pronounced Beela) becoming an important crossing point for traders.

This is the website of the members of the Wheatsheaf Burns Club No. 930, Falkirk, Scotland. We intend to use this medium to keep our members informed of the workings of the club in a more timely and informative way. The next meeting will be our AGM and will take place in The Colonial Bar, Grahams Road, Falkirk on Tuesday 19th May at 19:30. The committee would like to thank all our speakers and attendees at our 2015 Burns Supper. The evening was a feast of all things Burns and all had a grand evening.
