Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Haiti: The First Days. Once we arrived in Haiti, we loaded most of our group onto a school bus and I think the others went on a truck (there were 49 people from four different groups). And thus began our first look at the roads and cities of Haiti. It was a hot, bumpy ride, by the time we arrived I was sure that I had sweat all over my skirt! There were markets all. Another thing I didn't know about Haiti was that there were lot's of mountains! Our first morning waking up in Haiti.

Saturday, January 3, 2015. Wow, I didn't even realized that I had missed it, but yesterday marked 3 years. In having this blog! Obviously the blog has changed since then, definitely not as many posts (February of 2012 had 30 posts, there's not even 30 days in February! Sunday, February 23, 2014. A Day with the Eagles. Soo, a couple weeks ago, my family and I went to some areas around our city where you can see tons of eagles. And of course I took tons of pictures! But it was super cold and I couldn't see very well, and we were far away, but here they are anyhow! Some of those pictures were just of the surroundings and the almost completely frozen river! Saturday, October 25, 2014. The End of the Season. Here are some picture from the meet two weeks ago, my race was first, and I was still cooling off during the next race, but I grabbed my camera before the junior varsity started. The JV girls before their race. Running just before sunset. Running at the gun. All the pictures during the race turned out blurry :. I know I've been gone for a couple months, but now I'll have plenty of time to post some new pictures during my favorite season of the year!
