Life in a Backpack. Just another WordPress.com site. June 10, 2010. She’s finally gone. Changed the last legal binding document and it’s now for real. All I could think today is that i’m a good son. I will be a good man…already on my way there. All that’s left of her now are distant memories and a box of some photos at the bottom of my closet. I’m still here mind you. Never left. Life in a Backpack. Just another WordPress.com site. 78 days…it’s getting simpler. July 20, 2010. It’s not that i’ve actually done anything more to prepare for this trip. I just got over myself and now i’m excited. Ready for the adventure. My friend is no longer buying my truck and i’m totally ok with that. It will sell. Alaska Adventures, Part 2. One of the first things I did while in Alaska was casually explore the Fairbanks area. This included hitting up the free Alaska historic theme park, which was okay.
