We go away to be refreshed, for a change of scenery, for a place where no-one knows us, for a chance to be re-charged. We go away for uninterrupted. Time with family— those we love the MOST. And hold the closest, for laughter over inside jokes, for sleeping in (kinda), and to build memories together. For me, I am finding that the best part of going away is coming back. I am not sure if it matters that Adelyn didn’t really like the water, or that my motivation was seeing her in a cute infant swimsuit, or that it wasn’t really “swimming.” Yesterday the kiddie pool made its way to the backyard for our first little “swim” time with our big girl.
