Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. The Pirate Ruse by Marcia Lynn McClure. During a time when the United States was in war with King George, Cristabel Albay finds herself kidnapped from her home and taken aboard an enemy ship. The enemy ship is attacked by pirates, and she is captured by the evil pirate, Bully Booth.

You signal, pull over, get blinded by the spot light and you wait. He comes up to your window and says, "The reason I pulled you over is your license plate doesn't show that you have insurance." Thursday, April 29, 2010. May showers, then June flowers? Today is April 29 and it is snowing! The high temperature for the day was 43 degrees, which is about 20 degrees below average. It has been a very cold and wet day and for the first time in weeks I had to put my sweater on at work just to get warm! At least I didn't have to resort to my fingerless gloves.
