Lisa's Tiny Kitchen: Recipe: Mini Pie Bites/Cookies
http://lisastinykitchen.blogspot.com/2016/01/recipe-mini-pie-bitescookies.html
Monday, January 4, 2016. Recipe: Mini Pie Bites/Cookies. So it's been almost a year since I posted. I haven't had many recipes to share though, so I guess that's an excuse, right? Either way, I want to get back into this, starting with this simple recipe inspired by a segment I saw on my local news a few weeks back. The recipe they did was for "Fig bars" but I am calling these "Pie Bites" because that is really all they are. 1 roll of store bought pie dough - thawed. I used apple butter). 1) The video I ...

Lisa's Tiny Kitchen: October 2014
http://lisastinykitchen.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Recipe: Eggplant and Quinoa Parmesan. If you're like me, you've probably had (and loved) any kinda of chicken parmesan. If you're also like me, you have probably never, or seldom, had eggplant parmesan. Well, yesterday I was able to score a nice pile of fresh picked farm eggplants for about $4.00 - a total steal - and knew I wanted to make eggplant parm. The next question was, how did I want to do it? Eggplant - Quinoa Parmesan. On how to dry your eggplant). 1/2 - 1 cup milk.

Lisa Urban Art - Statement
http://www.lisaurbanart.com/ArtistStatement.html
The nature of my art makes studio practice just as important as the final work, for in my studio I like to assemble actual knitted objects into a setup and then shine a colored light to get a mood. Because working directly from this setup allows me to really see and feel the world that I am creating, it was only natural that I have begun experimenting with installation and sculpture projects. http://mysistersknitter.typepad.com/my-blog/2015/07/july-loves.html
Laquo; Knit chat and some chit chat. Hot knitting. ». Here we are very near the end of July. Guess what time it is? Time for some loves! Some scrappy blanket knitting, reading bits from a new book, and working on squares for Sams blanket were on tap. Bonus progress on my WIPs is going on, whats not to love about that? Now shall we get on with loves around blogland? I fear these lists will only get longer and time goes on, so maybe grab something to drink and settle in. I mean wow doesnt seem to cover it.

Laquo; May Loves. Knit Happenings. ». Knitting in Summer colors? Happy Sunday. How was your week? The weather has been absolutely whacky here in Arizona. Now, I am fully aware that I am talking/typing to many of you who have experienced the craziest of weather happenings this year, so I am by no means complaining. I am just wondering what happened to Spring? Granted my fingers were crossed for this months sock yarn to be a little brighter and fun.and I got it. Pattern Hermiones Everyday socks. Coffee cup...

Pumpkin Spins: August 2014
http://pumpkinspins.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
I'm currently on my way to Massachusetts for a much needed vacation. I plan on getting some relaxing knitting and spinning finished, visiting my alma mater, going hiking, spending time with my family, and making my yearly pilgrimage to Webs! I recently finished my Narragansett sweater. It was a very quick knit and super relaxing. Only halfway into this knit, I found myself thinking about which yarn I would knit it in next. I think this will be a repeat project for me, it was simply that nice. Finally, I ...

WIP Wednesday #41 | Rip It Good
http://www.ripitgood.net/2012/05/16/wip-wednesday-41
May 16, 2012. I almost forgot to post this week again. I can’t put up my little tennis ball project because it’s almost done and being gifted this weekend, but the entrelac purse has been blocked and I’m lollygagging on seaming it. I also did a couple gauge swatches for a Shapely Tank Top with that big hank of cotton I got at Maryland Sheep & Wool. One of them came out good, I thought:. Head over to Tami’s Amis. If you’re lookin’ to see more WIPs. Work In Progress Wednesday #10. War Against WIPs #3.
