Eating Possibly: April 2012
http://eatingpossibly.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
No meat, fish or poultry? No wheat, rye or barley? I'm trying to make it possible, and sharing photos, stories and recipes along the way. Friday, April 27, 2012. My good friend Greg, who is now proprietor of Cafe Tal in Guanajuato. And bee-tee-dubs makes the very best coffee on the whole planet, used to make an oh-so-clever pun when his quesadillas got a little burned: see, quemar. Means "to burn" in Spanish, so quemadillas. I recently decided to try Food for Life gluten-free brown rice flour tortillas.

Eating Possibly: July 2011

No meat, fish or poultry? No wheat, rye or barley? I'm trying to make it possible, and sharing photos, stories and recipes along the way. Friday, July 15, 2011. Necessity is the mother of invention, right? Earlier this month, I received my vehicle excise tax bill, and even the quarterly payment was a whopper. Ouch. And you know how gas prices are skyrocketing? Creative with what's in the pantry (and fridge/freezer). Hashtag until I get around to writing another post here. What can I say? As usual. Wh...

Eating Possibly: August 2011
http://eatingpossibly.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
No meat, fish or poultry? No wheat, rye or barley? I'm trying to make it possible, and sharing photos, stories and recipes along the way. Saturday, August 6, 2011. Let's call it "crombler". Is it a cobbler? I'm not sure, because I pretty much improvised as I went along. But, when I was a houseguest of friends in Ohio and they had a glut of fresh peaches needing to be enjoyed, I was happy to take on the challenge of making some yummy, gluten-free desserty thing. PEACH or PEACH-BLACKBERRY "CROMBLER". Peel ...

Eating Possibly: March 2014
http://eatingpossibly.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
No meat, fish or poultry? No wheat, rye or barley? I'm trying to make it possible, and sharing photos, stories and recipes along the way. Wednesday, March 19, 2014. I'll be honest: there was a moment, as I slid the loaf pan into the oven, when I thought: This is going to be heavy and dry. And possibly inedible. I should really have tried the original recipe first, or at least gone with a more familiar substitution like apple sauce. I was very relieved to discover how wrong I was! Preach on the subject of...

Follow along with me on my bumpy ride to gaining a better life. August 26, 2013. I am at a crossroads in my life and hoping I can figure my way through the intersection rather quickly. I recently put my resume online and then was contacted by an insurance company that sounded promising, so I quickly studied and passed the state licensing exam and headed out to Chicago for 10 days of training. I know I am an excellent teacher and love sharing what I know with those wanting to hear me. No more, “...Tutorin...

Vegan Burnout: October 2012
http://veganburnout.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Yep, that's where I live. Friday, October 19, 2012. Escape from Baltimore, Part 2. Ah, yes, New England. Red and I rolled into Providence in the late afternoon. Such a cool town! Spoiler alert: We highly recommend it. It’s very walkable, so we strolled around and got our bearings. Evidently it was move-in weekend for several of the colleges near our hotel, so it was perhaps a little more bustling than normal. It was also a Waterfire. Weekend, so we appreciate Providence’s putting on a show for us. Sunday...
