Friday, June 21, 2013. Jacob absolutely LOVED being at preschool! Every morning he happily ran to the rug with Eric and each afternoon the teachers told me how great he did. They couldn't get over how happy he was and excited about everything. I had a feeling he'd like it! My wonderful friends Laura and Nicole came up this afternoon to visit and meet our girl. We had lots of fun catching up and chit-chatting. And the amazing Nicole brought along her camera and took some pictures. I absolutely love them all! Zonked out on Nicole. She was comfy on Laura for quite a long time. Man, this girl!

Tuesday, November 13, 2012. I just got home from my doctor appointment. I am 33w 5d pregnant and getting more and more anxious to meet this little girl! Everything is going beautifully. Dr. L calls this another "vanilla pudding pregnancy". Everything is going normally and by-the-book. I am very thankful for that (and he is too)! Friday, May 23, 2014. Here is the story of what happened to our Lela this week. And since it was just Lela and me most of the time, I took quite a few pictures to send to family. Poison control said we should take her to the hospital because she'd eaten 4-6 pills. Your laid-back, mellow personality has grown this past year to also be stubborn, sneaky and a little bit mischievous. But your sweet smile, silly sense of humor and big bear hugs are priceless to us! Jake makes me laugh every day but he is so hard to understand with his hoarse, mumbly, almost 3-year-old voice that it's more the delivery than the actual words that are making me smile. Thursday, December 27, 2012. Can't believe this Christmas has come and gone. And I still have a baby in my belly! Even though it was hard to plan anything, and we ended up changing things at the last minute and being flexible, we had a really nice Christmas with our families.
