Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Oh this little girl. Azalea no longer sits in her high chair that is connected to the table. Now that she is a "big girl" she chooses to sit in a regular chair with the rest of us, happily perched atop a gigantic phone book. Finally we have a use for that thing. She's also taken to wearing that hat around the house all day long which is a fashion statement her father and I can really get behind. Me: Zayley, what should mommy make for dinner tonight? Z: Ka-corn (nods solemnly).

From Our Life to Yours. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Christmas 2013- part VI. The boys' annual Christmas picture in front of the tree with their ornaments. Our final Christmas celebration actually happened in 2014 with the Leonard family. Jill and Mark and the girls came up for a long weekend, and we had a blast catching up with each other and opening presents. We are blessed beyond belief to have wonderful families full of people with whom we love to spend time! Thanks, Mark Leonard Imaging.

Sunday, November 15, 2009. We had another big snow storm this weekend. Church was cancelled and we had a great day bumming around in our pajamas. When Nate went out to shovel the driveway, I decided that it would be a great time to dress Azalea up in the new snow suit that Grandma Nina gave her. I was, however, mistaken. We'll probably need to get her some gloves. Or some socks wrapped in grocery sacks. I'm sure she'll like it more once she forgets what a swim suit is right? Thursday, November 5, 2009.

A word from the werfs. Posted by rachael & mark. In the little man. July 26, 2012. O is taking swim lessons for the first time this summer. Upon the recommendation of a few friends here in CA, we chose to send him to a semi-private swim school. It has been wonderful! He’s had twelve lessons and I think he’s made a lot of progress. A recent Sunday afternoon trip to Seaport Village was filled with tons of sights, sounds and sweet memories. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon in America’s finest city! 1 Vintage car parade (some even showed off their hydraulics! 2 Sailboats, yachts, barges and ferries coming in and out of the harbor. 3 Planes and helicopters heard flying overhead. 4 Kites soaring in the blue sky above.

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. I see a few speech clients on Mondays so Nate stays home to take care of Azalea. Yesterday I arrived home to this scene:. Apparently Azalea walked up to Nate while he was washing dishes and said "help." Which is code for, "let me play in the water next to you.". Nate is a really good dad. Azalea is a really awesome kid.
