Friday, March 29, 2013. Spring Break Vacation and Jill's B-Day. We spent the first part of our spring break in Oregon visiting the coast and the Columbia River gorge. Before we left, we watched the Swiss Family Robinson. I asked Sage to write Journal entries for our trip just like they did in the movie. Here is what she wrote:. It all started after soccer. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. It is hard to believe that July is almost over and that summer vacation is winding down. Since our last post on June 4, here are a few things that have happened since then. Jill taught Gymnastics classes during June to Grant, Sage, Gabe, John, and a few other neighborhood kids. Grant went to Webelos camp at Lake Lowell. Sunday, October 20, 2013. Our summer wasn't too busy as Dee was working and could not get too much time off. We did enjoy family reunion's in Pocatello at the Christensen's house and with the Winegar's at Downatta Hot Springs. We enjoyed summer birthday's, the 24th of July celebration, a couple small camping trips, and we are now enjoying some great fall weather. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Conference Weekend, Jill's B-Day, Hiking, and Family Pictures. We just witnessed an amazing conference. Replica of Liberty Jail. A few weeks ago we took a trip to the Twin Falls Temple. We stayed overnight in Motel 6 and Jill and I took turns going through a session. Friday, December 21, 2012. Today was the last day of school for the year. It's hard to believe that the 1st semester is over. It went by quickly. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Dee, Grant, Sage, Gabe, and John. After Christmas, we spent a couple of days at the Winegar's and celebrated the new year with them. We enjoyed our time with both families and are looking forward to a bright new year. Here are a few pictures from our Christmas adventures. Sunday, September 9, 2012. A little video to highlight the end of our summer. Just wanted to write a quick update. Grant 11, Sage 9 Gabriel 6 and John 5 started school at Heritage Community Charter School. After school, Grant runs cross country with Dee's cross country team at Syringa Middle School. Sage continues to be an excellent reader and has been getting in trouble for taking Grant's books. She is a smart girl and absorbs a lot of it. Sage- - I can follow the prophet by smiling at someone who is sad.
