Cycling the Flatlands: Tour de Tahoe (Part 2)
http://illinoiscyclist.blogspot.com/2008/09/tour-de-tahoe-part-2.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Tour de Tahoe (Part 2). When last we met, I was discussing our ride down Millionaire Mile. Man those were nice houses. Once through that neighborhood, however, it was back to the highway. Amazingly the narrow two lane highways we were on most of the day never seemed as nerve racking as I thought they would be. Apparently, having already passed 500 riders cars had figured that there would be more, were looking for us, and gave us plenty of room. To the top. Exsqueeze Me?

My journey to education: Catch-up
http://myjourneytoeducation.blogspot.com/2010/12/catch-up.html
My journey to education. Saturday, December 18, 2010. After promising not to wait so long between posts, I have waited a long time for this one. Lots to update, so let's get started. This summer, I completed Safety in the Workplace. We learned about OSHA regulations and how to maintain a safe place of employment. I received an A in that class. I only have three classes left this spring, and I will graduate in May! How about a post about how one of your education goals is almost here!

Cycling the Flatlands: August 2007
http://illinoiscyclist.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 23, 2007. Pain, pain, and more pain. This is a tale of pain. Lots and lots of pain. The pain was incurred during the Planetarium Ride on August 11th but to begin the story properly we must go all the way back to August 10th. Does he not realize some questions are best asked in hushed tones e.g. "psst. buddy you got any chamois butter? This might also be a good time to mention that temperatures for the next day were forecast to be in the high 90's with a heat index of 100 . We get our reg...

My journey to education: Masters Anyone?
http://myjourneytoeducation.blogspot.com/2009/10/masters-anyone.html
My journey to education. Saturday, October 3, 2009. So, I've been trying to decide what to do with my $250 paperweight that is my Accounting for Professionals textbook. While doing some research on e-bay, I found one for sale that had been used by the seller for his MBA studies. MBA! So, when I'm done with this class, I'll be well on my way to my master's, right? Wishful thinking, I know. Have a great weekend everyone. October 5, 2009 at 6:08 AM. You know youre a closet Favre lover. Tour de Tahoe (Part 2).

Spirit of the Northwoods. A site dedicated to bringing people closer to Nature through my own thoughts, as well as through the teachings of Thoreau, Emerson, Olson, and others. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. New Mode of Transportation. Another year in the books. Tomorrow it will be 2009.2009.man, where does the time go. I know everyone says it every year but it just amazes me just the same because as I grow older the years seem to be flying by faster and faster. But I digress. I have these thoughts becaus...

Cycling the Flatlands: Tour de Tahoe
http://illinoiscyclist.blogspot.com/2008/09/tour-de-tahoe.html
Sunday, September 14, 2008. Mark Twain once said, "To breathe the air that angels breathe, one must visit Lake Tahoe." It really is that beautiful. If nothing else I was eager for the Tour de Tahoe for the beautiful country we would be riding in. No cornfields on this ride! No group start here, you got to the start and took off headed south towards the first big climb around Emerald Bay. We passed through the town of South Lake Tahoe and soon the first climb of the day loomed large before us like some me...

My journey to education: September 2009
http://myjourneytoeducation.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
My journey to education. Monday, September 21, 2009. I'm really struggling to keep my interest in this accounting course. For as much as I enjoy strict math and numbers, you wouldn't think it would be that different, but man it is. I am managing an A so far, so that's good. We have one more test, a paper, and a presentation left, so I hope I can finish strong. I especially like the part about. Maybe I should work for Best Buy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My journey to education: Hello Again
http://myjourneytoeducation.blogspot.com/2009/10/hello-again.html
My journey to education. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Been awhile since my last post so there's a couple of updates to cover. I did end up getting an A in Accouting for Professionals. I won't miss that one. I also got invited to join the honors society, Phi Theta Kappa. Pretty cool, I get inducted next Tuesday. I anxiously await the post when I can say that I'm in my last class before graduation, but I guess that's what makes this a. See you all later, and God's speed to all. View my complete profile.
