Monday, November 18, 2013. I'm going to try and write this all in one sitting, but we will see if I actually can. Our little guy is here. We are head over heals for him, and his big brother is already so protective of "his" baby. The last week and a half have been a blur of sweet baby snuggles, sleepless nights, countless prayers, and full hearts. We checked in and they said since I had dilated so much on my own that I wouldn't need pitocin until morning. I tried to sleep through the contractions (ha!

Friday, January 31, 2014. Lately, my days are filled with diapers and Disney Junior and tantrums and chocolate milk and trying to get peanut butter out of the carpet that used to be white but is now a dull gray color. Lately, my favorite thing to watch is my husband playing catch with our preschooler, or holding our baby, because those two sights are just the best. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Haiti 2010 - by Hannah. Last August we took a team of eight people on a 10-day trip to Leogane, Haiti to serve at an orphanage called. Operation Love the Children of Haiti. OLTCH). It was an amazing experience, and we were able to help Greg and Jasmine Martinson, who run the orphanage, both by doing work projects and by spending time loving on their 40 kids. It is a very small town which has a protected harbor and a small lighthouse (to the left) – more on it below. Mull of Galloway Lighthouse:. There were quite a few lighthouses in the area of Scotland where I worked. This one is on the Mull of Galloway on the extreme southwestern tip of Scotland. It was first lit in 1830.

Friday, January 30, 2009. On new years eve almost everybody drops something. New york city drops a glass ball, Lebanon, PA drops a Lebanon bologna, and this year we went to the first annual Beaver Drop* in Beavertown, PA! That is the beaver up at the top of the fire truck! Uncle Dean says it was better than Times Square! And he has been there on new years eve! The beaver after the dropping. Partially squashed! Here we are trying to line up by height. More on the hike.
