Roars from the earth. No time for shoes or bags. Hope Mum comes soon. My heart was pumping. I was terrified in the classroom. Everyone sat quietly outside. Waiting for my Mum. Teachers taking the rolls. Cars by the million. Holes and bumps in the road. Like driving through riverbeds. Men and women running.
