Words We Never Thought Of. All The Things I Never Said. . . and Other Ramblings. December 26, 2016. December 26, 2016. I’m starting to see that certain people bring out the worst in me in the best ways because when they say their hurtful words, do their dirty deeds and throw me under the bus without losing one wink of sleep they give me the power to peel back my tough skin–. But it is there in between the different layers I find my redemption. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Notify me of new pos...

Words We Never Thought Of. All The Things I Never Said. . . and Other Ramblings. July 7, 2016. December 27, 2016. The blood of my brothers spill from the four corners. Leaving their own bodies by force. While their cries are muffled by the silence of those who choose to watch. Our history get written for us–again. This is not 1776 —. We can read and write better than. The ones who taught us the foundations of a language. That was never our native tongue. Yet we speak the language of ignorance. Sandrablan...

Words We Never Thought Of. All The Things I Never Said. . . and Other Ramblings. August 20, 2016. August 20, 2016. To my almost forever,. You say I’m just a friend but you’ve been in my heart,. And in my head for all this time; I know it makes no sense. Because you told me (then) you weren’t ready for that type of commitment. Yet each time I went to leave you pulled me closer and said:. Don’t go, stay with me –please;. And I stayed not only because you asked,. But I thought staying would make you change.

Water Water (autumn/winter 2012). Summer seems so long ago. The space between then and now has been crammed with deadlines and driving and too much dust. Summer was etched out in white and blue, cold colours marking a trail up and down the UK, flinging out from Manchester and back again, elasticated, joyous, stretching to dip feet in oceans to the north and south. Later, to Devon and Dorset for family and festivals. Mackerel-fishing, lido-swimming, cliff-exploring, crazy-golfing and crab-shacking. First ...

Words we never said...
Words we never said…. Just a picture. (4/100). Posted in Consideratum est per curiam. With tags 100 poems. On July 16, 2015 by wordsweneversaid. So I read a poem to my Son the other night…. He always listens patiently – he knows the writer through her words. He listened a bit more carefully this time…. She was telling a story about a place he knows well. As is usual, by the time I was through, there were tears flowing down. Normally he would just spend a quiet moment – he’s that way. We took a picture.

Wordswerve - Write art where art is needed
Write art where art needs to be. An author’s thought. What would it be like for […]. Take I5 to Williams and get on the 30. Notes for a Poem about the Stars. I wish to show some thanks to the writer Just for bailing me out of such a incident.
