Textiles; veganism; a simple life. 2014: I won’t miss you. Oh, 2014, I don’t think I’ll miss you when you’re over. It’s been intense:. To crochet using strips of old sheets. My job got a whole lot bigger. More workload control. More work. We discovered the Perth International Vegetarian and Vegan Food Fair, held this year in April. And stuffed ourselves silly. I was diagnosed with skin cancer. Surgery. Medical bills. I taught two of my nieces to knit. I found that I was not alone. I saw the end of one.

My commitment to crocheting a square a day. Purl One, Knit For Good. A Square Can Be So Much More →. August 22, 2014. There’s no shortage of vegan chocolate ice pop recipes. 2014: I won’t miss you. You a...

As all uni students complain, (though I can’t complain too much: #artsstudent) the workload for the last few weeks of semester was hectic. Already sinking into the end of week 3 of the holidays, everything is happening a little too fast. My commitment to crocheting a square a day. The Knit(-a-square) Retreat →. A Square Can Be So Much More. October 3, 2014. Have you ever wondered about the secret language we use on the Knit-a-square forum? Over time, we’ve evolved squares into warm garments to help combat a distinct lack of warm clothing. Thanks to KAS, little bodies can be warm, dry and protected. Think: soft acrylic, worsted weight. The important thing about any garments that are sent to KAS is that they are sized appropriately.
