Sail Maria - With Ryan and Stefanie. Saturday, February 2, 2013. Maria is back home. Last year in July Ryan and some friends sailed Maria to Honduras to keep her out of the hurricane area. We got lucky last year. No hurricane hit the Cayman Islands but Sandy came close. On October 23 Sandy passed Grand Cayman and brought some wind and rain. Our neighbor islands Jamaica and Cuba were hit. Ryan, Jim and Maria made it safely back to Grand Cayman within 4 days. They had a windy but nice journey.

We were told from good people who kept an eye on her over the winter that she is fine.
