There will be lots more but this was a cool one because it's got the word "first" two times in its title! Leo had a good attitude about going to first grade. And why shouldn't he? Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Tomorrow will be our fourth snow day this year! Today was the first one where we actually had snow. Just like in Dallas, we get about two-five of these days each winter here in Atlanta. That's just enough snow for me. But unlike Dallas, we've got hills for sledding, right in our backyard! Sunday, May 31, 2015. A Star Wars Summer. We went to Target to buy some floats for the pool last week and they went bonkers over these Stormtrooper kick boards. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Gus has been here FOUR years! Gus was an easy baby. Today, I wouldn't call him easy. Lazy, maybe. But not easy. Okay, lazy is a little extreme…lethargic. He is always up for some downtime. And when he doesn't get it, he's up for some tantrums. Like yesterday, I took him to Costco and he was wearing his Luke Skywalker costume and holding a sword. (His light sabre had been confiscated.). And then a few minutes later he passed out. Cause you dragged it all over Target last week.

Last year was the first year for the Rangers to make the World Series and I was excited to tailgate at a game in the Ballpark parking lot. This year I actually got to go to the game. Since Walker's birthday fell on Super Bowl Weekend yet again and I couldn't go a second year with a football theme, I decided to go with another seasonal favorite: Mardi Gras!
