In yarn, we lust. This is a most auspicious occasion, being my first real tutorial and all that jazz. Here is the highly anticipated Needle Kimono Tutorial with step by step instructions (I’ll try to get the photos in soon). I promise you, though, it is very easy and you will be whipping these out like no body’s business. Moving on. Any fabric/quilting shop, the remnants bin is a good place to look as well). Always pre-wash and press your fabrics. Thread to match exterior fabric. Lining your Needle Kimono.

Thread to match all three fabrics (I used a variegated thread in reds and pinks). Washable fabric pen (optional). Note: 1/4 inch seam allowances used throughout. With selected border/tie fabric (fabric A), cut (4) 3.5 by 22 inch strips, leaving one 4 by 22 inch strip; set aside. Trim (2) apron fabrics (fabrics B and C) to match. Attaching Border to Apron.

Baa baa BROWN sheep! September 4, 2008. Last night I went to my favorite waterfall. Honestly, its the only waterfall I know of around here. Also, my craft project of the day is a lanyard I made for my keys so I wouldn’t lose them:. I’ve lost my keys like a hundred times since I’ve made this. I guess its me, and not my keys. Also, my mom who is awesome sent me a present in the mail. It is this shirt from The Onion:. She is getting this t-shirt, also from The Onion:. It doesn’t even make sense, right?
Knitting Ozelote: februari 2014

Fredag 28 februari 2014. And it's not even blocked yet! The zig zag vintage cardigan I'm currently working on is like that. The BC Shetlanduld (Shetland wool) just works perfectly for the pattern, and the 3D effect of it is really cool. I can't wait to see it finished, but it will be a while since I have the daunting task of knitting the sleeves left. (I really don't like sleeves, they are so boring.). Another structure that makes me happy, from a project long ago. And written by Francois Tellier-Loumange.

Knitting Ozelote: Your socks are like pools of springs!
http://knittingozelote.blogspot.com/2014/04/your-socks-are-like-pools-of-springs.html
Torsdag 17 april 2014. Your socks are like pools of springs! And they are done. I will be a good girl after this and keep the recommended gauge. Maybe. The pattern is really pretty though, but I would recommend a yarn for the Spring Pool Socks. That defines it a bit more than the rather loosely spun Delight. Really clever heal and gusset as well. When I started I thought it was a bit overly complicated, but it's actually rather brilliant. It's only in Swedish. Med nål och tråd. Days By the Water. Softswe...

As the holiday season approaches, a new, and I might add incredibly young, grandmother's thoughts turn to stuffed animals and ornaments. Autumn is here once again and it's a delightful time to break the sweaters out of storage and decide what to knit for Rhinebeck, my favorite sheep and wool festival in upstate New York. Thankfully this year my Rhinebeck sweater was finished well in advance. I'm so pleased to be included in The Rhinebeck Sweater. A lovely new collection of 12 patterns by Ysolda Teague. That I want to knit!
