A happy place for knitting and other creative endeavors. Friday, October 04, 2013. Dutchess - my Rhinebeck sweater. Autumn is here once again and it's a delightful time to break the sweaters out of storage and decide what to knit for Rhinebeck, my favorite sheep and wool festival in upstate New York. Thankfully this year my Rhinebeck sweater was finished well in advance. I'm so pleased to be included in The Rhinebeck Sweater. A lovely new collection of 12 patterns by Ysolda Teague. That I want to knit!

Monday, April 13, 2009. Kiana lost her 1st tooth! Last night I was on Eric's computer after the kids were in bed - and Kiana came in saying her tooth hurt. Eric was already asleep too. I checked it - and it was super loose. I was like "hold on" - because I had to run down and get the camera to take pics before/while it was coming out. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. DIY Craft Table - Inspiration Pottery Barn Beford Project Table. In our house we have an office downstairs - but we have an office/craft room that is attached to our bedroom. For a while I have been wanting a craft table for Kiana and I to do projects on - but the only one I found is this one at Pottery Barn - and it is $1157 - now $949 on sale. Here are a couple of pics of the inspiration table from Pottery Barn:. These were $54.88 each plus tax - so approximately $120.

Saturday, November 7, 2009. BUSY DAY - in New York City. My feet are so TIRED but we had a packed day today. We started off the morning with a cab ride to the Metropolitan Museum of Art - or The Met. We got there around 9:15 and they opened at 9:30 - this was just by luck. It was awesome because it wasn't too packed then compared to when we were leaving later. Here is the outside of the building:. I went and sat in the sun in the Gossip Girls - mean girls - spot! It was COLD at this time - 37 degrees!
