Knit Knitty Knit Knit: August 2006
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Monday, August 28, 2006. Tomorrow I'll be sending off the last package to my one skein secret pal, and the package for my favourite colour swap pal. Other than that, all I've managed to do is finish the first father's day sock. Apparently Father's Day is next Sunday, so I'd better get cracking on that other one! Gotta go and make lunch. Friday, August 11, 2006. That's me looking shitty because I couldn't get a decent photo. Lovely, isn't it? I don't have enough time left to say eve...

Knit Knitty Knit Knit: November 2006
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Tuesday, November 07, 2006. I'm really bad. Haven't updated in a long time. BUT I'm still being constructive and creating stuff. I've learned crochet! At least some very simple crochet, and I'm making a veil for belly dancing! Here's the progress so far:. And I know you can't see what I've done to the edge. so here it is:. The Tailor of Gloucester. Or something like that, and the tailor is freaking out, because he's run out of cherry-coloured twist (actually, the cat hid it). I lik...

Knit Knitty Knit Knit: Yummy
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2009/02/yummy.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I forgot a couple of things yesterday, a couple of tasty morsels. Noro Kureyon Sock yarn. 4 ply, pretty colours. What on Earth am I going to do with it? So many possibilities. Lace? Terrible photo. It's actually chocolatey in colour. Lovely 8 ply Perendale from the guy at the Bus Depot Markets for hubby's jumper-to-be. One day. I just like to cuddle up to this stuff. I'm not always a miserable sod you know! Knit Knitty Knit Knit: October 2006
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Sunday, October 22, 2006. Alas, I've decided to rip the sock and start again. Ladders! Freakin' ladders are forming between the needles, and it doesn't matter how tight I pull the stitches at the ends of the needles, they just won't go away:. Very slow progress, but I've just been busy doing other things. It's getting pretty hot these days - was 33C the other day. Not natural knitting weather I suppose. We'll get there though. Tuesday, October 10, 2006. This one is a toe-up, which ...

Knit Knitty Knit Knit: In which Disquina makes more work for herself.
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2008/12/in-which-disquina-makes-more-work-for.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Monday, December 22, 2008. In which Disquina makes more work for herself. Time for a monster post. So, what's news? So I pulled out the calculator and worked out how many repeats of this that and the other etc., and then found that someone on Ravelry had already worked it all out, which is a relief, because when I alter patterns I have anxiety attacks the whole time I'm knitting in case I've buggered it up. Next: Why I haven't posted lately - finished objects:. It's a Christmas pre...

Knit Knitty Knit Knit: Lace Love
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2009/03/lace-love.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Monday, March 02, 2009. Firstly, congratualtions to Bells for her winning knitting. In the Canberra Show! Couldn't have gone to anyone more deserving I say! So the Long Lacy Summer. Is over, and what have I achieved? I'll start with tangible achievements. Finished items were Swallowtail Shawl #1. Now unfinished items. Swallowtail #2. And the other unfinished, my beloved Laminaria! I wish I could have had it finished by February 28, but of course life gets in the way. I love thi...

Knit Knitty Knit Knit: Universes
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2009/02/universes.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Monday, February 16, 2009. The knitting in question is Laminaria. I am perhaps a quarter of the way through it:. I decided not to do the star stitch repeat in the pattern because I wanted a more open lacey look, so I replaced it with honeycomb stitch. I'm not sure if it matches the look of the rest of the pattern really, but of course you can't tell until it's finished and blocked:. I'm sorry you lost your brother. Knit Knitty Knit Knit: January 2009
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Thursday, January 15, 2009. Well I'm back from the Victorian countryside. So much green it hurts. It's always brown or grey here at home. I didn't knit a single stitch! I had Laminaria with me the whole time, but I was so busy or exhausted I didn't even cast on. I did however finish the second Coronet for hubby's grandmother. 'ere 'tis:. I'm keen to do the Primula design in the same book now, but I really must start Laminaria. I'll cast on tonight! Well I did have a little bit of a...

Knit Knitty Knit Knit: September 2006
http://knitknittyknitknit.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Knit Knitty Knit Knit. Thursday, September 07, 2006. Holy Balloony, Batman. Wow, I don't know where to start. I just realised that people have left comments on this blog. I had no idea! I'll have a look at them when I've finished this. I can't believe that anyone is actually reading this! Well, maybe I'll start with this! It's me and Bubby about to take off in a balloon! And here's proof that we did:. Well I can tell you, I ain't doin' either of those things for quite some time. So I opened it a little b...
