Knitting that flys off the needles. Thursday, 21 January 2010. More of my crafted pressies for this year I have finished a mini version of Dahlia in girls age size 8-10. One thing that drives me nuts about this pattern is how the neckband rolls outwards. Will have to try and steam/block that so it doesn't do it anymore. Learnt the new sewn cast off with this pattern to and I have to say I LOVE it! Pattern: Dahlia ( Rav Link. Started: 18th Jan 2010. Finished: 21st Jan 2010. Why do they all stop at the sam...

dreamcatcher - knitting . photography . life: October 2005
http://knittyinpink.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 22, 2005. So far I've done about a foot of the Dr Who scarf. I cast on something like 38 stitches which worked out at 7 inches wide. The actual pattern calls for it to be 12 inches wide (and worn folded over to make it look like 6 inches). This seemed like it would be too big and heavy, especially for the recipient - the original scarf was designed for a 6 foot great hulking bloke! Some pictures when I have a little more done. So far I've used purple, beige and bronze. I was very naught...

http://knittyinpink.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2005. None too articulate at this time of night, but wanted to say thanks to those who have left me comments! Much appreciated and cheered me up :-). Another 10 rounds done on the scarf tonight. I left it alone last night as I couldn't sit comfortably. Surely this is not England in late August :-). Quite a contrast to weather in the US at the moment, terrible to see the damage on the TV news tonight. Posted by dreamcatcher @ 12:20 am. Monday, August 29, 2005. Last Wednesday. Sum...

Victorian, on the move: April 2009
http://coloradoandreaming.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 21 April 2009. Now you see it:. That ground squirrel (well that is what I guess it was) was very fast! It was sitting in front of us happy as larry at the elephant seals past Big Sur and then just VOOM! Ah the perils of photographing wildlife. At least it wasn't a tree squirrel - it probably would've run up someone's leg! Monday, 20 April 2009. There were marching bands (local high school, pic chosen to not show faces! Near the end, before the fire trucks, etc, there was a pipe band! From down i...
