So, I thought, I have so much yarn that I will probably never use, so I started making "Scrappy Afghans" for my friends who commented. They were so well received that everyone in the family wanted one so I wound up making 10 of them. I feel that I need to make enough for all of Danny's sisters too. I also have other designs or can copy a favorite you have. The blanket on the left is actually a Knifty knitted blanket. I can be done is blocks as shown or in different colored panels. Monday, July 2, 2012. Projects for the Festivals. Next, some dishclothes, also made from the same kind of thread. You will probably notice, I use a lot of this cotton thread, especially for my products that will be used and washed alot. These washcloths will lose some of their color because of the hot dishwater but they hold up very well and last forever. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. I haven't had much to blog about lately on this website. We have moved to Florida and I have been real busy. But I did start working on a small project for myself. I wanted a dish garden for decoration in our small apartment. I found this lovely copper plated bowl that was already painted black on the outside. I painted the flowers on the sides. EK Tools chalk kit – Product Review. September 3, 2016. I was sent an EK Tools chalk set to review. I was really pleased as it is not my usual craft and I love trying new things! You can find this kit here. At first I was a bit apprehensive as there weren’t any instructions but I did a quick Google search and found my way with it. It was fine though as it didn’t affect their use at all! I will be using this again and its great that it is something I can share with my boys as we love doing crafts together.
