Strikes a Chord: April 2011
http://strikesachord.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A little bit about the music I like. Monday, April 4, 2011. Brendan Kelly/Joe McMahon Wasted Potential. Despite my doubts about this album, it proved to be perhaps one of the most unique acoustic transformation experiences I've ever had. It actually leaves me wanting more, which is exactly what I would hope an album is able to do for me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Brendan Kelly/Joe McMahon Wasted Potential. View my complete profile. The Antiverse: Like a Ninja
http://theantiverse.blogspot.com/2013/02/like-ninja.html
Saturday, February 2, 2013. Beyond this, there isn't much to the genre. And when one considers the litany of bad first person shooters, endless stream of RPGs, and ubiquitous regular action games, one starts to feel more than a little bit left out. More use of the environment. More use of shadows. That is to say, just because it's a stealth game doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to fight your way out of a jam. Tenchu has been widely smashed for its poor fighting system. It does. I feel the game should b...

The Antiverse: May 2013
http://theantiverse.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Xbox One Reveal Thoughts. All of these systems will have games. For the most part, they will all have the same games. We need to know why we should play Madden and Call of Duty on Xbox One as opposed to PlayStation 4. I don't think we need to be playing those games at all, but that's another topic for another day. Let's just pretend for the moment for the sake of argument, ok? How does the inclusion of things other than games diminish gaming? Oh, it doesn't? I think that's it for...

The Antiverse: June 2012
http://theantiverse.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 9, 2012. E3 2012: Sony and Nintendo Thoughts. So I'm not going to do my more extensive breakdown on these like I did on the others. Here's just a quick rundown:. What in the unholy ballsack of Satan was that? This stupid Move/AR/retarded thing just kept going on and on and on. Until I saw this, I had forgotten the Move even existed AND I OWN A MOVE CONTROLLER. PSOne classics on Vita? That wasn't a thing already? And now it supports TWO controllers? My NES from 1985 sure couldn't do that!

The Antiverse: May 2011
http://theantiverse.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 29, 2011. Episode 49: Open Worlds Suck. On the heels of L.A. Noire's release, we discuss the past, present, and future of open-world/ sandbox games. In true Antiverse fashion, we also go on several tangents. Hilarity ensues. Not really. Enjoy! Saturday, May 28, 2011. When looking through a very old issue of Nintendo power, I saw an article about the (then) forthcoming first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. You know, the top-down game with the occasional really poor side-scrolling portions&#...

The Antiverse: Why I’m More Excited for Origins 2 than Arkham Knight
http://theantiverse.blogspot.com/2015/03/why-im-more-excited-for-origins-2-than.html
Thursday, March 12, 2015. Why I’m More Excited for Origins 2 than Arkham Knight. Don’t get me wrong, I’m expecting Knight. Using the Arkham Knight. Engine) than I am the current reality of Arkham Knight. This is my most dreaded new feature in the game. They’ve turned it into some kind of weird tank. Now, I’ll grant you I would definitely not ace a Batman history test, but since when has the Batmobile had guns on it? Will only leave me wanting more. Origins 2. And Robin was the highlight of the Origins.
