Sunday, July 27, 2014. Fort Worden State Park. We've been wanting to visit Fort Worden State Park ever since we saw a post about it on our friends' blog. We almost made it there three years ago when we visited nearby Fort Flagler. We had fun walking around checking out the different batteries and buildings. Afterwards we had lunch at the Nifty Fiftys Soda Fountain, which had really yummy ice cream. A great way to end our day of fun! Winston checking out an old boat. Wherever Corey goes, Winston must go.

Saturday, August 15, 2015. Portland Bubble Run 2015. Scott and I spent Friday night in Portland so that we wouldn't have to get up at 4am to drive down for the Bubble Run that started at 8am this morning. Scott had a really bad cold, but he didn't let that dampen his spirits. He ended up walking the 5k with me instead of running it, which was just as well, because I was able to get lots of good pics! Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Sourdough Ridge Hike @ Mt. Rainier. Hike sure was an adventure. We originally were going to hike to Freemont Lookout at the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier. After I returned from vacation I decided to change it to Spray Falls at the Mowich Lake entrance because it would be a little less strenuous. So off we went, and wouldn't you know it, we missed the turn off from Hwy 410 and ended up at the Sunrise entrance after all! Michele, Tammy and Kassia at the start.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Seattle Sounders Game (#6). Our next match is in two weeks. I hope that by then they will have bucked up, and the weather will have cooled down. We shall see. On the train to the match. Sitting in the sun. It was a scorcher! It was a full crowd that night. A total of 53,125 people were there to cheer on the Sounders! Thats a big crowd! Sunday, July 26, 2015. Well, it was fun while it lasted. Corey was here from the 15th until yesterday, when she had to head back to Pullman for work. I think we fit in a lot of stuff while she was here: hiking, beach, zoo, movie (the Minions), two concerts, shopping and lots of eating out! Sunday, March 22, 2015. Corey's week at home went by pretty fast. She fit in almost 20 hours of work, as well as, time with the family (not enough! And friends.
