You Can Make This . . . Thursday, October 8, 2015. I can still sew! Strange and wacko event - I had a stroke in med-Sept. At the worst of it I couldn't talk and my right arm wouldn't move. But I was quickly treated with TPA which reversed the stroke! Turns out I have fibromuscular dysplasia which ultimately caused the stroke. ANYWAY, I was very sad at the thought of not sewing again. But I improved so much! Am expecting a full recovery! Hurrah for excellent nurses and doctors! Posted by Mary Anderson.

Well, dead for like a year or more. But while in San Francisco I bought some fabric, and this afternoon I made a skirt! Was lucky to have just the right trims in my stash. Lots of trips, great weather, being outside - I guess those are reasons? But today is about zero degrees so it was a great afternoon for sewing.
