AN armada of small private ferries may soon be criss-crossing Sydney Harbour after the NSW government said it was willing to license more vessels to help serve small communities along the Parramatta River. Community groups are anxious to see an expansion in the number of small ferries, running directly between harbourside suburbs and the city, saying they could ease traffic in the inner suburbs and unclog the streets around major ferry stops.

Apple iPhone OS 4.0 Announcement. On 8 April, Apple unveiled plans for the most exciting iPhone software update coming this June or July. OS 4.0 will include more than 100 new user features, the major new features includes. Users will have access to seven multitasking services, which will allow the program to be run in the background without hurting performance or battery life.
