Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Our KDL library is just awesome. They hosted some great Christmas special events recently which we took advantage of. The first event was a reindeer visit! Another event was a very informative presentation by an Iditarod expert. We learned a lot of interesting information and even got to meet his team of sled dogs! The instructor, Mr. Dan, with Lydia. Below Lydia is warming up by dribbling while we wait for her classmates to arrive. We will find out this week if she is right!

Sunday, November 30, 2014. Wow, 17 weeks already- almost half way there! This pregnancy is flying by! I'm feeling well- very thankful to be out of the first trimester. Here is the baby bump thus far. Here we are just hanging out in the morning looking at pictures from our trip to SkyZone. Lyddi was Daddy's little helper this month for a couple projects. Our beauty all ready for church. Our friends, The Kuperus' were visiting from Iowa so we had our annual gathering with the three families: The Kuperus', The Bussis', and The Olsons.which I name mashed into, The Kubussons! The moms after a delightful pedicure. Thanks guys for watching the kids! We all went to Dordt together. The Dads, who all attended Westminster together, hanging out. Lunch time. Life with the Bussis. Friday, May 30, 2014. Fun Food Friday- Celebrating the big 2-0 with M&M Bars. Hence, the big 2-0! Ingredients: Quick Oats, Flour, Brown Sugar, Baking Soda, Salt, Butter, Sweetened Condensed Milk, M&Ms. To a big mixing bowl add 2 cups of oats. 1 1/2 cups of flour. 1 cup brown sugar. 1 tsp baking soda. And 3/4 tsp salt. Stir together. Melt 1 cup of butter (I messed up the recipe and only did 1/2 cup of butter which I guess made it a little better for us, but it was pretty crumbly).
