23 things - Deakin University Library. Friday, November 2, 2007. Week Ten - 19. Put a photo of your pet on the Wiki. Play audio for this task. Is a type of web site which is edited collaboratively. That is, anyone with access can edit any page of a wiki, and add new pages. It's great for sharing information between staff of an organisation, or for developing documentation. Wikis keep a record of all edits made to a page, so it's possible to see who added what, and even to reverse edits. First, you'll nee...

23 things - Deakin University Library. Friday, September 28, 2007. Week 6 - 12. Explore MySpace and Facebook. Play audio for this task. I'm sure you have heard of MySpace. And not necessarily in a positive light. Recently, MySpace has appeared in the news for all the wrong reasons. MySpace is busier than Google, with reports showing that it gets between two and three times Google's daily traffic. Over 150,000 new MySpace accounts are created daily, so its capacity to each a wide audience is mind-bogg...

23 Things--A Lifelong Project

23 Things- A Lifelong Project. Thursday, July 22, 2010. I am tired- but excited! There are too many things that I learned to list what I received from each one. Besides, there's too much to go back to that I didn't explore as fully as I would have liked. Kudos to the staff for offering true diversified learning instead of the follow-me that I received in other technology courses. Yes, Yes, Yes, I would enroll in another course of this type. 23 Things- A Lifelong Project. Links to this post. I'm sure many...

23 Things @ CamMedLib FollowThat. For staff at Cambridge University Medical Library. Monday, 16 August 2010. Week 13: e-books a go-go. E-books are here and they're getting bigger! There have been e-books around for a few years now. And in Cambridge the e-books project. Began in 2005. Already in America, e-book sales from Amazon have overtaken paper sales. 23 Things

Thursday, 8 April 2010. Thing 23: The Final Thing! From a personal point of view, my three favourite Things were: Twitter, Google Reader, and Delicious. The first two were sites I had previously used - however, this has only increased since starting 23 Things (the number of feeds I am now subscribed to verges on the ridiculous! Especially as it was brilliant to have colleagues involved. The trainees especially seem to have become quite attached to Twitter - and I hope it continues! Tuesday, 6 April 2010.

Monday, August 14, 2006. Let's see, assignment is to write down which step is easiest and which is hardest for me. The hardest step jumps out at me.that would be 7 1/2 "Play". Even when off work my mind tends to stay there. I'm always thinking of new displays, orders, things to do. I find it difficult to let go. Posted by 23 Things @ 4:22 AM. View my complete profile.
